Billy C. Williamson, Sr.

Funeral service for Billy C. Williamson, Sr., 81 of Big Sandy will be Friday, December 8, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Michael Bayer officiating. Interment to follow at Hoover Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Friday, December 8, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. Mr. Williamson passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his home in Big Sandy.

Mr. Williamson was born March 30, 1936 in Quinlan, TX to the late Otis Williamson and Lettie Metcalf and married Beverly Jean Howery on November 6, 1997 in Carrollton, MO. Mr. Billy served in the United States Army and worked for the State of Missouri where he retired. Mr. Williamson was of the Church of Christ faith.

Billy is survived by his wife; Beverly Jean Williamson of Carrollton, MO, son; Billy C. Williamson of Nashville, TN, step-son; Randy “Raggs” Warner and wife Vickey of Marshall, MO, daughters; Mary L. Williams and husband Joel of Big Sandy, TX, Melinda Pope and husband Joe of Big Sandy, TX, step-daughters; Paulette Gordillo and husband Ramon of Grandpass, MO, Letha Aversman and Jackie Stoner of Norborne, MO, Barbara Castle and Melvin Thompson of Norborne, MO, brother; Darrell Williamson and wife Judy of Big Sandy, TX, sister; Wanda Mosa and husband Hank of Royce City, TX, 28 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Joel Williams, Randy Dickerson, Billy Williamson, Misty Dickerson, Zachriahy McDade, and Randy “Raggs” Warner. Honorary Pallbearer will be Alan Pilcher.
