Donald Fennell

GILMER – Graveside service for Donald Fennell, 82, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at Willow Oak Cemetery with Larry Cowan and Michael Fennell officiating. Under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Fennell passed away Friday, November 17, 2017.

Mr. Fennell was born October 8, 1935 in Gilmer, TX to H.A. “Red” and Beryl Lawrence Fennell. He was a retired Market Manager with Safeway Grocery, rancher and a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Fennell of Gilmer; son, Michael Fennell and wife, Debbie of Longview; daughters Melissa Berry and husband, Dan of Bettie and Michelle Cordera and husband, James of Austin; special grandson, Colton Cordera; extended family, Meagan and Josh Parish and son, Kaden, Trena and Roger Hurst and son, Canyon, Kim Headrick and children, Madison and Cooper; his constant companions Max and Major.

Mr. Fennell was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Fennell; sister, Judy Maudlin; and great-granddaughter, Kayla.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
