Donald Harold Gathye

Funeral services for Donald Harold Gathye, 72, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins. Interment will be in the Holly Tree Cemetery in Wood County. Mr. Gathye passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Gathye was born June 28, 1944, in Nebraska to Harold and Ruth Mensik Gathye. He was a retired machinist for Union Pacific, had lived in Hawkins for two years and was a member of the Trinity Luthern Church in Hawkins.

He is survived by his wife, Eun Hee Gathye of Hawkins; daughters, Kathy Barrington and husband, Neil of McClellan, Iowa and Lorrie McElroy and husband, Bob of Council Bluff, Iowa; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Gathye was preceded in death by his parents and sister Patricia Patton.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the funeral home.
