Johnie Clarence Hamberlin

GILMER – Memorial service for Johnie Clarence Hamberlin, 89, of Gilmer will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Mark Barton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Hamberlin passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017.

Mr. Hamberlin was born April 29, 1928 in the Enon Community to Ulon Clarence and Mary O’Dessie Darden Hamberlin. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, self-employed, lifetime resident of Upshur County and a member of the Nazarene faith. He also, enjoyed working around his farm and being with his family.

Mr. Hamberlin is survived by his wife, Patricia Louise Duffey Hamberlin; son, Gary Hamberlin and wife, Steffie Rowe Hamberlin; daughter, Juanez Hamberlin Fuller and husband, Randy and Patti Hamberlin Gray and husband, Brett; grandchildren, Heath Hamberlin and wife, Shelley, Hayley Hamberlin, Lynsey Fuller Lewis, Jordan Gray Carroll and husband, Sam and Bodie Gray and wife, Breanne; great-grandchildren, Laynie Hamberlin, Kate Hamberlin, Ava Hamberlin and Barrett Hamberlin.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Hamberlin.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
