Alice Ruth Mathews

Graveside services for Alice Ruth Mathews, 98, of Gilmer will be 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Gilmer City Cemetery in Gilmer with Reverend Dick Casey officiating. Interment will be in Gilmer City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer Ms. Mathews passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 in a Gilmer hospital. Ms. Mathews was born January 4, 1913 in Delrose Community to H.C. and Mattie Frances Pratt Mathews. She was retired from Pilgrim"s Pride, a lifetime resident of Upshur County, and a member of Bettie United Methodist Church. She is survived by several cousins. There is not scheduled visitation.
