Alice Valdetero Brewer Duncan

Alice Valdetero Brewer Duncan, 82, formerly of Gladewater, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 in Magnolia, Texas. Alice was born January 17, 1939 to the late Ike Valdetero and Annie Mackey and lived most of her life in Gladewater. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at UT Health Center in Tyler for more than 20 years. After her retirement, she moved to Magnolia to be closer to her family. Alice passed away peacefully surrounded by her children. She will be welcomed into heaven by her family that has gone on before her.

Alice is survived by her sons, Jimmy Brewer of Magnolia, Texas, Doyle Brewer of Tyler, Texas, and Gary Brewer of Silver Springs, Florida; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Clyde Valdetero, Charles Valdetero and Paul Valdetero and sister Mary Porter.

Graveside services for Alice will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pritchett, arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
