Anthony Wilson Aldredge

Memorial services for Anthony Wilson Aldredge, 69, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Reverend Richard Laster officiating. Mr. Aldredge passed away on October 13, 2016 in Gilmer and was born on December 31, 1946 to Harry and Millie Aldredge. He was an operator at Eastman Chemical Company and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Aldredge was a huge supporter of the Gilmer Buckeye football team and always stood behind the coaches whole heartedly. He loved fishing and gardening and was extremely proud of being a Yard of the Month winner. He is survived by his best friend, Janet of Gilmer; son, Darren Aldredge of Longview; daughter, Angela Aldredge of Longview; brother, Mike Aldredge and wife Pat, of Bellville, Texas; sisters, Pat Tarver and husband Bill, of College Station, Ann Cummings of Gladewater; grandchild, Aiden Brannan, and four nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Millie Aldredge. Honorary pallbearers will be the Class of 1965 and his many other friends. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
