Bernice Roach

Services for Bernice Evelyn Roach, 85, of Gilmer will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, Richland Hills United Methodist Church in North Richland Hills, Texas with Reverend Danny Tenney officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Ft. Worth, Texas. Mrs. Roach was born on July 8, 1927, to Eunice and Viccie Seale in Pittsburg, Texas and passed away on November 16, 2012 in Gilmer. She married Clyde Roach on February 14, 1948 and resided in North Richland Hills for most of her life. Mrs. Roach worked in the banking business for 20 years in various positions but the one she loved the most was being the head of the Emerald Club, which was a seniors group that traveled the world. She was also a member of the Oakcrest Woman"s Club in Hurst. Mrs. Roach was an active member of Richland Hills United Methodist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; parents, Eunice and Viccie Seale; sister Dorothy Massoletti; brothers Clarence and Raby Holcomb. Mrs. Roach is survived by her brother, Lacy Seale and his wife, Peggie of Pittsburg, TX, brother, Herbert Seale of Pittsburg, TX,; sister, Bobbie Nugent and her husband, Bain, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family requests donations to be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 100 W. Hawkins, Parkway, Longview, Texas 75605. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
