Betty J. Allen

Betty J. Allen born to Bill and Althea Bonny on October 25, 1932, went to be with our Heavenly Father on the evening of December 7, 2019.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years James D. Allen, one daughter Lynda M. Allen, two sons J. Bryan Allen and Brent L. Allen. She has one daughter in law Misty Allen, two grandsons Jeremy L. Allen-Hampton and Christopher J. Allen.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 10, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas.

Betty loved the outdoors, trees and her favorite the Hummingbird. She was also quite the artist in photography as well as on the canvas and these were her hobbies. Thank you to all for your countless love, support and prayers for our family during this difficult time.
