Betty June Foster

Funeral services for Betty June (Fritsche) Foster, 90, of Big Sandy, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Church of God, Big Sandy, at 1106 W. Broadway, Big Sandy. Interment will follow at the Gladewater Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Foster peacefully went to her rest in her sleep on July 28th, and awaits the resurrection at the return of Jesus Christ.

Betty was born June, 18, 1929 in Amo, Indiana to Elso & Blanche (Christie) Fritsche. Warren & Betty Foster, and teenage sons Gary and Morris moved from central Indiana to east Texas in 1969. Mrs. Foster was office manager for the family electronic business for many years. In the past 30 years, she has been caretaker for many elderly people. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was blessed with many friends. She was always thinking of others, and had a heart to serve. She was baptized into the body of Christ in 1963, and loved attending Church of God, Big Sandy as an active member, where she frequently sang in the choir, helped in the kitchen, or wherever she could. Mrs. Foster will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Foster is survived by her sons Larry, Gary, and Morris, grandchildren Vance Victor, Chad Foster, Tiffany Christianson, Chris Foster, and numerous great grandchildren. Mrs. Foster was proceeded in death by infant daughter Donna Jo, infant son Warren B., husband Warren, grandson Jason, and grandson Larry Ed, and 5 brothers and sisters.
