Betty Lou Harrison

Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Lou Harrison, 52, of Gilmer, TX, will be held 4:00 pm, Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, TX with Bro. Bryan Grant officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Betty passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 in Houston, TX.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Betty was born in Demopolis, AL on November 29, 1965, to the late C.J. and Mary (Tucker) Stockman. She married Ricky Harrison on May 7, 2005 and they were married for 13 wonderful years. Mrs. Harrison was a devoted wife who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also attended Green Acres Baptist Church.
Betty is survived by her husband, Ricky Harrison of Gilmer; sons, Chris Luker and wife, Alisha of Butler, AL, Joseph Harrison and wife, Jessica of Gilmer, Joshua Harrison and wife, Amanda of Longview, Jeremy Harrison and wife, Jennifer of Winnsboro, Jason Harrison of Liberty City; daughter Kimberly Ballard and husband, Adam of Sweetwater, AL; brothers, Bill Stockman of Selma, AL, James Stockman of Mobile, AL; sister, Martha Hill of Demopolis, AL; grandchildren, Halle Harrison, Hillary Harrison, Hensley Harrison, Madison Harrison, Macon Harrison, Mason Harrison, Maliyah Harrison, Whitney Lacy and husband, Ryan, Braden Harrison, Baylee Youngblood, Blake Luker, Brooke Luker, Whitney Harrington, Caleb Harrington, Brooke Henry, Jenna Henry; and great grandchildren, Olivia and Heidi Lacy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Daisy Stockman.
