Betty Lou Jones

Funeral services for Betty Jones, 73, of Gilmer will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Rosewood Baptist Church in Upshur County with Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Jones passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was born July 20, 1939 in New Blain, Arkansas to Carl and Ethel Mae Jones Smith. She was a retired Banking Teller, had lived in Gilmer since the early 1970"s and a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, David Jones of Gilmer; sons, Robert Jones, Jo Bob Jones and Jack Jones all of Gilmer; daughter, Cindy Lindsey of Leander, TX; sisters, Wanda Ackerman and Margie Doom; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
