Betty Ruth Jackson

Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Ruth Jackson, 86, of Pittsburg, TX will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Bro. David Jackson and Bro. Chester Duncan officiating, interment to follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Jackson passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Gilmer.
Mrs. Betty was born on October 3, 1932, in Ft. Worth, TX to the late R.D. and Burnice (Oliver) Walthall. Betty was a lifetime resident of Gilmer and proudly took care of her home, she was also a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Mrs. Jackson will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her children, Johnnie Jackson, Jimmie Jackson and his wife, Margaret, Tommy Jackson and his wife, Lesa, David Jackson and his wife, Cindy, Terry Meagley, Diane Martin and her husband, Randy, Renee Wilson and her husband, Howard; grandchildren, Rebel Jackson and his wife, Kim, Cheyenne Gray and her husband, Cody, Misti Martin and her husband, James, Mischell Lindsey and her husband, Darin, Danna Jackson, Jerrad Jackson and his wife, Lanie, Adam Jackson and his wife, Geni, Deanna Andrews and her husband, Danny, Casey Parker, Carla Denson and her husband, Ben, Cassidy Jackson and Lee Torres, Nacole Walls and her husband, Billy, Nick Meagley, Whitney Lee and her husband, Cody, Mandy Martin and her husband, Chris, Hailey Potter and her husband, Brian, Danin Tharpe and her husband, Trey, Terri Ernest, Christy Harper and her husband, Johnny; 56 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Wayne Jackson; and grandson, Cole Jackson.
