Funeral services for Bill Loggins, 71 will be held 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Graceton Church of Christ in Upshur County with Jason Stapleton officiating. Interment will follow at Mattox Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Loggins passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in Longview. He was born in Laurel, MS on January 1, 1943, to William Coleman Loggins, Sr. and Effie Stringer Loggins. Mr. Loggins was an accomplished self employed businessman and a member of Graceton Church of Christ. He was a former County Commissioner and was on the Diana School Board. Mr. Loggins is survived by his wife, Anita Loggins of Gilmer; son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Tania Loggins of Lafayette, LA.; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Willie Hargett of Gilmer, Debbie and Mike Spencer of Gilmer, Donna and Troy Loving of Diana; sisters, Betty Loyd of Gilmer and Rehba Coppedge of White Oak; eight grandchildren, Drew Hargett, Meagan Gibbons and husband, Adam, Kirby Spencer, Chase Spencer, Zach Gipson, Greyson Loggins, Bailey Carter and Cameron Gilbert; one great grandchild, Kolbi Blanchard. Pallbearers for his service will be Willie Hargett, Mike Spencer, Drew Hargett, Kirby Spencer, Chase Spencer and Zach Gipson. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Eatherton, David Clay, G. W. Cox and Keith Robbins. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6, at Croley Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
