Funeral service for Billy "Bill" Clyde Robison will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Dennis Chambers officiating. Interment will be in the Cherokee Cemetery in Upshur County. Mr. Robison left this earth to spend eternity with his bride, June "Judy" Roach Robison, on Friday, January 9, 2015. At home, but not alone, Bill left with his dearest friend of over 40 years, James Williams, by his side, also accompanied by Nancy and Daryl Kincheloe. Mr. Robison was born February 10, 1930, in Perryville, Texas, to Jesse James Robison and Annie Mae Sansom Robison. Bill was a retired service manager of Sisk Buick in Mt. Pleasant since its opening and later in Longview. He enjoyed his position, the Sisk family, the employees, and especially his customers. Bill also served four years in the United States Air Force from 1950 thru 1954 as a Dental Assistant. Bill and Judy enjoyed dancing and spent much of their leisure time participating in square dancing and western dance. For years he and his wife Judy enjoyed their annual trek to Vegas with friends Letha and Wesley Morris. He is survived by his five children, Billy Lyle Robison and wife, Linda Robison, Kerry K. Robison, Joey Donell Robison, Nikki Yordy, and Sandy Coleman and husband, Jimmy Coleman; five grandsons, Aron Robison and wife Julie Abraham-Robison, Rance Yordy, Rowdy Yordy, Billy Coleman and Nicholas Coleman; one granddaughter, Rain Coleman and one great-granddaughter, Taylor Robison. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sybil Robison Corbitt; brother, Jimmy Donell Robison all of whom he missed a great deal. Pallbearers will be Aron Robison, Rance Yordy, Rowdy Yordy, Billy Coleman, Nicholas Coleman, Lance Shirley and Ruston Shirley. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Williams, Preston Scals and Ronnie Shirley. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas.
