Bobbie Lee Foster

Mrs. Bobbie Lee Foster, 82, of Vernon, Texas passed away on November 11, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with the Pastor Mack Swain will be officiating. Visitation will be held Friday prior to services from 10:00 until service time. Burial will follow the funeral at Friendship Cemetery.

Bobbie was born September 14, 1935 in Goree, Texas to the late Lonzy Estel Smith and Lottie B. Gray Smith. She was an LVN and worked for many years in the healthcare industry. Mrs. Foster loved reading the Bible, attending church and singing gospel music. She was always willing to help anyone in need and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother. Bobbie will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

She is survived by two daughters Linda Spies and Vickie Moretina; two sons Mike Foster and wife Kelli and Rickey Foster; two sisters Mary Whitlock and husband Don and Darlene Wheeler and husband Joe; brother-in-law Ronnie Goodwin; fifteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

Mrs. Foster is preceded in death by her parents; husband William Wesley Foster; daughter Margaret Foster; two sisters Geneva Goodwin and Doris Charlene Smith and three brothers Tommy Smith, James Smith and L.E. Smith.
