Carla Darlene Evans

Memorial service for Carla Darlene Evans, 60, of Gilmer, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Croley Funeral Home with Mr. Phil Fowler officiating. Mrs. Evans passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Gilmer.

Mrs. Evans was born November 8, 1959 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late John and Eloise Rhodes Spell. She married Gary Evans on October 18, 1980 in Kingsland, Georgia. Carla was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cross stitching, playing on the computer, and spending time with her beloved dogs and birds.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gary Evans; daughters, April Gibbons and Alicia Moore; brother, Dewayne Spell; two nieces; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and in-laws, Otis and Nancy Evans.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kieth Moore; and grandson, Aaron Gibbons.
