Carolyn Estell Fletcher

Celebration of Life services for Carolyn Estell Fletcher, 72, of Gladewater will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020, at The Church at West Mountain, 6259 US Hwy 271, Gilmer, TX 75645. Mrs. Fletcher passed away passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020, in Gladewater from natural causes.

Carolyn was born September 6, 1947 in Denison, Texas to the late William and Carol Harvey. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Ruthie Murray and granddaughter Anna Murray.

She is survived by her beloved James Quick of Gladewater, TX; two sons, Robert Quick and wife April of Gladewater and Carl Quick and wife Teresa of Sun City, UT; three brothers and three sisters, Tom Harvey and wife Yvonne of McKinney, TX, Bill Harvey and wife Kim of Pleasant Hill, CA, Nancy Reiter and husband Steve of Arlington, TX, Mary Harris and husband Lynn of Sun City, UT, Annette Bryant and husband Randy of Paris, AR and Josh Harvey of Dallas, TX; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

Carolyn lived for her family. She loved spending time with them all; her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. Carolyn was loving and caring; she extended her hand and home to all who were in need. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms. We take comfort in celebrating her life, knowing she is with our Lord and Savior. We celebrate her life for everything that she was, and the legacy she has passed down through her siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, it is Carolyn’s wish that donations be made to the Isampia Shining Star Academy located in Kenya. Donations can be made through The Church at West Mountain giving app/website.
