Charlsia Lanelle Elliott

Celebration of Life services for Charlsia Lanelle Elliott, 81, of Winona will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, September 11, 2020, at the The Dove Church in Hallsville with Pastor Larry Wilkins officiating. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Gladewater Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Elliott passed away Saturday, September 7, 2020 in Winona.

Charlsia was born November 13, 1938 in Paris, Texas to the late Jess Broughton and Veda Richardson Broughton. She was a devoted homemaker and accomplished seamstress. Charlsia was known for her delicious Peanut Brittle and Chicken and Dressing. She was a Prayer Warrior and would pray for anyone that was in need; often praying for people she did not know. She loved her family and they were the center of her life. Charlsia will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, great great great grandmother and homemaker.

She leaves behind her daughters Norma Waller, Phyllis Loftis, Nina Williams, Janice Davis and Laura Pierce; son Carl Elliott; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, son Jerry Elliott and four siblings Estaline Bowman, Bobby Broughton, Wayne Broughton and Kenneth Broughton.
