Clarence Reuben Slone

Clarence Reuben Slone Mr. Clarence Reuben Slone, 71, of Gilmer, passed away on September 20, 2010 in Gilmer. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. He was born October 20, 1938 in Wilson, Texas to Earl and Clara Erwin Slone. Mr. Slone served in the U. S. Navy and was a retired truck driver. On July 24, 1971 he married Virginia Ruth Moore in Camden, Arkansas and moved to Gilmer in 2003. Mr. Slone is survived by his wife, Virginia Slone of Gilmer; sister,Louise Caveness of Santa Fe, Tx ; several nieces and nephews.
