Services for Connie Lee Smith, 76, of Gladewater, Texas will be held at Croley Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Donald Ward officiating. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Connie passed on Friday, December 19, 2014 in Tyler, Texas. Connie was born to Leonard and Dorothy Fisher in Troy, Ohio on June 12, 1938. She married William "Bill" Smith on March 29, 1954. She was a member of the United Church of God in Big Sandy, Texas and a resident of Gladewater for nine years. Connie Lee Smith is survived by her husband, Bill Smith, Gladewater; son, Bill Smith, Gladewater; daughter, Beth Carter, Gladewater; two sisters, Carol Richmond and Penny Gunn both of Longview; grandchildren, Thomas Harper, Matthew and Dylan Smith, Ryan Carter and Kelsey Carter. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Emanuel Fisher and Dorothy Baumgardner.
