Connie Marie Gibson Croom

Funeral services for Connie Marie Gibson Croom, 44, of Gilmer will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Brother Madison Caffey. Interment will be in Gum Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. She fought hard through an extended illness and was called home to the Lord on Friday, April 8, 2011. Mrs. Croom was born December 6, 1966 in Longview to James Watson and Grace Earl Fincher Gibson. A lifelong residence of Gilmer and a graduate of Union Grove High School. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Croom was a bookkeeper for Cannon Safety L.T.D. of Kilgore as the controller and a friend to many. She is survived by her husband: Scott Croom; daughter and fianc": Kimberly Diane Burcalow and Aaron Edward Regalado; sister and brother-in-law: Cynthia and Jeff Vance; brother and sister-in-law: Clyde and Doris Gibson; grandson: Aaron Eli Regalado; step-mom: Mary Gibson; step-brother and sister-in-law: Jamie and Tona Clough; step-sister and brother-in-law: Tammy and Scott Sinclair; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father James Watson Gibson and mother Grace Earl Gibson. She was loved greatly and will be missed by all her family, friends, and co-workers. Pallbearers will be Aaron Regalado, C.J. Gibson, Jermy Thomas, Johnny Newsome, Tony Mitchell, and Joe Wheeler. Honorary Pallbearer will be Aaron Marshall. The family would like to thank the wonderful employees of the East Texas Oncology Clinic of Longview for their loving care and support throughout her illness.
