Cordie Christine Thompson

Graveside services for Mrs. Cordie Christine Thompson, 97, of Grand Saline will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer, with Pastor David Burcham officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Thompson passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, in Mineola.

Cordie Dooling Thompson was born April 5, 1921, in Gladewater, TX to John Edward Dooling and Annie Bean Dooling. She was an operator for American Recreation before her retirement and a member of Harvest Acres Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Brenda Thompson; grandchildren, Regina Peterman, Tracy Bryant, Chad Green, Mickey Thompson and several great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert Thompson; son, Larry Thompson; grandson, Scott Thompson; two brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
