Coy Aubry Berry

Services for Mr. Coy Aubry Berry, 76, of Gilmer will be held 4:00 P.M, Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Tom Kimbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Sandhill Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. Mr. Berry passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Gilmer. He was born on September 4, 1934 in Upshur County, Texas to Lester and Lillie Mae Shaw Berry. Coy graduated from East Mountain High School and on October 24, 1953 he married Joy Virginia Woods. He was a member of Simpsonville Church of Christ and worked for Arkla retiring after 25 years. Mr. Berry was survived by his wife, Joy Berry of Gilmer; son, Lester Eugene Berry of Gilmer; daughters, Terry Lynn Berry of Gilmer, Ginger Ann Nation of Gilmer; brother, Danny Berry of Gilmer; sister, Betty Witcher of Gilmer; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Dustin Hardin, Colin Hardin, Jason Hill, Jordan Hill, Seth Nation and Christian Nation. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22, 2011, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
