Curtis Lee Green

Graveside services for Curtis Lee Green, 88 of Saxonburg, PA, formerly of Blanchard, La. will be held 11:00 A.M, Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Glade Creek Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas with Terry Smith officiating. Mr. Green passed away on Sunday, November 25, in Saxonburg, PA He was born on December 13, 1923, in Thomas, Texas to Claud and Minnie Bivins Green. Mr. Green served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He was a Principal for Blanchard Elementary in Blanchard, LA and a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Blanchard. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Terry Smith of Valencia, PA; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith and his wife, Christi, Kristy Huntsman and her husband, Lance; two great grandchildren, Taylor and Makayla Huntsman. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Green in 2011 and daughter, Janet Emanuel. The family requested no formal visitation.
