Daniel "Dan" Everett Holloway

Memorial service for Mr. Daniel Everett Holloway 82, of Big Sandy, will be held Monday, May 14, 2018, 10:00 AM at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Phil Fowler officiating. Family will receive friends Sunday, May 13, 2018 for 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Holloway passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 in Longview.

Dan was born in Pritchett, TX on June 28, 1935 to the late Woody and Madge (Brown) Holloway. He married Barbara Wilkinson on February 9, 1956 in Houston. He was a proud veteran in the United States Army and was an Engineer for Marathon Oil for many years. Mr. Holloway was also a member of the Church of Christ in Gilmer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Holloway of Big Sandy; sons, Robert Holloway and wife Vicki, Dana Holloway-Jones; sister, Sarah Earp; grandchildren, Jarrod Holloway, Riley, Dalton, and Parker Holloway-Jones; and one great granddaughter, Paige Holloway.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Horace Holloway; two brothers, and one sister.
