Darryl Robert Mendoza

Darryl Robert Mendoza, 56, passed away on July 5, 2022. Darryl was born on July 24, 1965 in East Los Angeles, CA.

Known as “Big D” to all that knew him, Darryl was loved by everyone he met. He was very intelligent and over the years gained experience as a machinist, carpenter and electrician. Darryl was a great athlete that enjoyed all sports. He was also an excellent pool player and loved playing darts. Darryl had many hobbies that included wood working, fishing and his favorite past time hunting for Big Foot. Many stories can be shared about “Big D” involving his fishing and Big Foot hunting adventures. He cherished spending time with his nieces, nephews and other family members. “Big D” you’ll be missed, you’ll be loved and you’ll never be forgotten.

Darryl is survived by his father, Robert Lucio Mendoza; sisters, Madeleine Mendoza and Adelaide Mendoza; nieces and nephews, Steven Hernandez, Lillian Aldana, Darryl Guzman, Martin Arroyo, Karina Guzman; as well as many great nieces, nephews and family members.

Darryl is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Mary Lopez and sister, Roslyn Guzman.
