David Campbell

David Allen Campbell was born on November 30, 1948, in Love County, near Marietta, Oklahoma. He was the first child of Wayne Harold and Anna May Rose Campbell. In 1951 his sister was born in the log cabin built by his father on the same property.
David received a degree in Journalism, Professional Writing from the University of Oklahoma, later becoming a published author. While attending OU, David was a member of the Air Force ROTC. After graduating he served in the United States Navy for 4 years and 3 years in the Army National Guard.
David is preceded in death by his father and mother Wayne and Anna Campbell.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife of almost 40 years Rebecca (Becky) Ilene Campbell; 3 daughters and their spouses Rebecca & Jon, Ruth-Anna and Richard Jr., and Deborah & Sergio. He is also survived by grandchildren – Stephen (Little Jon), Hannah, Richard III (Bear), Fredrick (Freddie), Sergio Jr, Chewy and spouse Avisael, Gabriella (Gabby), David, Rosa and great-granddaughter Daniela. His sister Anita; nieces and nephews Daniel, Jennifer and Marc Butcher and Sabrina Nivens, Matthew and Misty Butcher with their children Isaiah and Kaylee Butcher.
