David Ray Poston Gladewater -- Services for David Ray Poston, 52, of Gladewater, will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 3 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church with Reverend Scotty Fife officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on March 13, 1960, he died on Friday, May 18, 2012. He was retired from construction and a Baptist. He is survived by mother and step-father, Wanda and Gene Nash of Gladewater; daughter, Kelsey Rae Poston of Tulsa, Oklahoma; step-children, Cara Pennington of New York and Colin Pennington of Dallas; brother, Ernest Poston of Gilmer; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Rodney Lindsey of Gilmer; step-brothers, Steve Nash of Gladewater and Kyle Nash and wife Sheri of Gladewater; step-sisters, Nicki Bryant of Liberty City; Kim Nash of Longview; and nieces and nephews. Since Ray spent his entire life helping others, he never met a stranger and was deeply loved by everyone. Although he"ll be sorely missed, he is now at peace with his Lord and Saviour.
