Dean Crossland

Funeral services for Dean Crossland, 81, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Mr. Mark Engle and Mr. Tom Kimbrough officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer.
Mr. Crossland passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017. He was born on October 25, 1935 in Honey Grove, Texas to Ira Crossland and Euna Prowse Crossland. Mr. Crossland served in the National Guard and retired as the vice president at Shippers Warehouse.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cleon Crossland of Gilmer; sons, Terry Dean Crossland of Gilmer and Keith Edward Crossland and wife Claire, of Grand Prairie; brothers, John Crossland of Little Rock, Jerry Crossland and wife Betty, of Lewisville, Joe Crossland and wife Dawana, of Gilmer, Mike Crossland and wife Barbara, of Wichita Falls; sister, Pat Jordan and husband Dennis, of Carthage; grandchildren, Cody Crossland and wife Katie, of Grand Prairie, Kaitlin Ellis and husband Harvey, of Waxahachie, Josh Skelton of Austin, Jeremy Skelton and Kayla Toliver and husband Parker, all of Grand Prairie; great grandchildren, Michael Crossland, Allison Ellis, Eric Ellis, Deacon Toliver and Camille Toliver.
Pallbearers for the service will be B.J. Roth, Chase Robertson, Matthew Robertson, Brian Robertson, Kyle Jordan, Jeremy Skelton, Josh Skelton, Cody Crossland, Harvey Ellis and Parker Toliver.
Honorary pallbearers will be James McKissick, Bryan McKissick, Phillip Crossland, Kurt Hallonquist, Joe Hallonquist, Neal Hallonquist, Danny Spencer, Garry Bailey, Gary Casey and Charles Hickerson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
