Debra Joyce Dozier

Funeral service for Miss Debra Joyce Dozier, age 64, of Gilmer, TX will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Gilmer Apostolic Church with Rev. Eddie Jones and Rev. Michael Putman officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service, interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park following the service. Debra passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Longview, TX.
Debra was born in Modesto, CA on January 29, 1954 to the late Bill and Lorena (Sisco) Dozier. Debra was a member of the Gilmer Apostolic church. She loved her church family, reading, and gospel music. She was also known as the family “babysitter.”
She is survived by her brothers, Robert and Eric Dozier both of Gilmer and Dexter Dozier of Paris; sisters, Shirley Denman and Mary Quillen and her husband, Danny all of Gilmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Kenneth and E.W. Matlock, and Greg Dozier; and sister, Marie Makemson.
