Donna Davidson

Funeral services for Donna Davidson, 77, of Gilmer will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Reverend David Everett officiating. Burial will follow at Cherokee Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to services from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Heaven gained an angel when Mrs. Davidson went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Mrs. Davidson was born July 28, 1941 in Texarkana, Arkansas to the late Earl Eldridge and Bernice Lee. Donna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and homemaker. She had worked for many years as a cashier for Piggly Wiggly and for a short time at Lone Star Steel. Donna was a longtime devoted member of the First Assembly God Church in Gilmer. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and spending time with family and friends. Donna was hardworking, honest and willing to help anyone in need. Donna will forever be remembered by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

She is survived by her two daughters Kristi Keller and husband David of Texas City and Patricia Baca and husband Jesus of Gilmer; son Jason Davidson of Gilmer; brother Gary Eldridge and wife Maria of Daingerfield; three grandchildren Amy Jordan, Dillan Clark and Kollin Keller; three great grandchildren Rachel Jordan, Mckenzie Jordan and Kaelyn Jordan; one great grandchild Jaxson Jagot; numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family and friends.

Mrs. Davidson is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 54 years Clyde Davidson who passed away in 2016.
