Dustin Clark Griffin

Services for Dustin Clark Griffin, 38, of Gilmer will be Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Reverend Todd Gwynn officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Dustin passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 in Gilmer. Dustin was born February 14, 1978 in Greenville, Texas to Lenon Ray Griffin and Elvita May Atkinson. Mr. Griffin served in the United States Army. He also worked as a welder for Lebus Manufacturing. Dustin enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing. He loved music and was an avid guitarist. Dustin was a quick witted prankster, who enjoyed making people laugh. He was a self-taught chef who made a great cheese cake. Dustin was also a very caring and giving person who helped organize and start a blood drive at Lebus. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted father, son and brother. He is survived by his daughter Addison Sophia Griffin; son Patrick Riley Griffin; parents Ray and Elvita Griffin, Sr.; two brothers Lenon Ray "Yaqui" Griffin, Jr. and Joel Wayne Griffin as well as many other loving family and friends. Dustin is preceded in death by his brother Steven Ray Griffin; paternal grandparents Carl and Katherine Griffin and maternal grandparents Stella and Daniel Atkinson.
