Edward William Pruitt

Cremation arrangements for Edward William Pruitt, 83, of Gilmer. Are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Pruitt passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Pruitt was born June 11, 1926, in Fisk, Missouri to William Ray and Edna Earl Pruitt. He was retired from Goodyear Airspace and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his sons: Gary Edward Pruitt of Arizona and Troy Dean Pruitt of Gilmer; daughters: Pamela Kay Whitney of Vancouver, Washington, Gayla Lynn Fletcher of Oxford, Arkansas, and Evelyn Price of Gilmer; sister: Glenda Pruitt of St. Louis, Missouri; 11 - grandchildren, 12 - great-grandchildren; and niece: Marita Russell of Pocahontas, Arkansas. No visitation is scheduled.
