Services for Ellaween Green Williamson Cross of Gilmer will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11:00AM at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Mark Engel and Jeff Story officiating. A private burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. She was born on October 31, 1936 in Gilmer to Arden and Gertrude Green. Mrs. Cross was a lifelong member of the Gilmer Church of Christ. She was a retired beautician and had worked at and owned several beauty shops in Gilmer. She enjoyed decorating, gardening and her family. She was a very compassionate person and was loved by all who knew her. She passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 after a short battle with leukemia at Baylor in Dallas, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Cross is survived by her husband, R.D. "Buck" Cross of Gilmer, her daughter Susie Stephens and husband Arlyn of Longview, their children Scott Stephens and wife Mandy, their children, Abby and Cooper, Amanda Coleman and husband Brad, their children Max and Jake, her daughter Sue Story and husband Jeff of McLeod, their children Jana Terry and husband Steven, their children, Emily, Molly and Ryan, Shana Whittemore and husband Jonathan, their son, Jude, her daughter Jeannie Cammack and husband Steve of Colleyville, their children Warren and Holden, daughter Stacy Williamson of Gilmer, her children Matthew Mullinix, Sara Mullinix, Jimi Ilise and fianc", Clay Breckenridge, their son Jace, Jon Williamson and wife Lena of Gilmer, their children Zain Williamson, his children, Riley and Morgan, Logan Williamson and his wife Miranda, their children, Wyatt and Jintri, grandson Kristian Lee and wife Christal, granddaughter Wendy Nance and her husband Jeff, their children, Perrin, Melody and Autumn, granddaughter Stormy Helpenstill, her children, Ray and Jaycee, her brother, Edward Green and wife Vonda of Orange, her brother Billy Ray Green and wife Jackie of Gilmer, her sister Jo Mayberry of Gilmer and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cross was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters, children William Cross and Opal Cross Barnes. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Scott Stephens, Matthew Mullinix, Warren Cammack, Holden Cammack, Clay Breckenridge, Zain Williamson, Logan Williamson, Brad Coleman, Steven Terry Jonathan Whittemore and Kristian Lee.
