Eloise R. Spell

Funeral services for Mrs. Eloise R. Spell age 79 of Gilmer, TX will be held at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 21, 2019, with Bro. Wade Maberry officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mrs. Spell passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in Gilmer. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M at the funeral home.
Mrs. Spell was born December 16, 1940, to Aaron Rhodes and Millie Pittman Rhodes. She lived in Gilmer since 2003. Mrs. Spell was a homemaker and a member of Glenwood Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren, family and cooking. Crocheting was her hobby and Mrs. Spell enjoyed traveling with her husband while he was doing construction work.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, John DeWayne and Dee Spell; daughter and son-in-law, Carla Darlene and Gary Evans of Gilmer; five grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and her dog, Holly.
Mrs. Spell was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Spell.
