Frankie Elayne Godwin

On April 13, 2021, Frankie Elayne Godwin passed away. Frankie was born in Independence, LA to Alvin and Dorothy Jones Godwin, on May 27, 1955.

Frankie was the sweetest lady you had ever met and always has a smile on her face. Her life was focused on God, family, and her friends.
She is survived by her son, James Barber; sisters and brother-in-law; Serita and Robert Threadgill, Sarah Tyler, Janice Baetz, and Annette Stracener; grandchildren, Caitlin Barber, Riley and Rodey Jester; and great granddaughters, Lillie and Maggie Napier.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the chapel of Croely Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends for food and fellowship will be held at the Meadows Community Center following the service.
