Frankie Louise "Sue" Weatherford

Frankie Louise Weatherford, known, to her family as “Sue” died peacefully on May 23, 2020 at the age of 98 after a long and fulfilling life.
Born in rural Upshur County, Texas on October 20, 1921 she spent most of her life in Orange, Texas.
She was preceded in death by loving husband Arch Weatherford; her parents John and Fannie Capps; brother Noble Capps; sister Eddie Mae Capps Davis; step children Ken Weatherford and Jan Weatherford; and sister-in-law Jessie Conn.
She is survived by her daughter Cherrie Green of Burleson, TX; dedicated niece Sara Dumas of Hemphill, TX; nephew Johnny Taylor of Gilmer, TX; great nephew Phil Yocom of Hemphill, TX, Jeff Yocom of Henderson, TX, and Chris Erdos of McGaheysville, VA; great niece Karen Billups of Fair Hope, AL; step grandchildren Ken Weatherford, Jr., Edward Weatherford, Phillip Weatherford, Johnathan Weatherford, and Elizabeth Warren; and a host of great-great nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
To all that had the privilege of knowing her, she was a fantastic conversationalist, a fun loving and funny person and a constant companion to her loving and devoted husband Arch Weatherford. Sue and Arch enjoyed the company of family and friends always bringing their wry sense of humor and enjoyment of life to each occasion.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
