Freda Sue Johnson

Funeral service for Mrs. Freda Sue Johnson, 64, of Scroggins, TX, will be held 11:00 A.M, Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, TX with Bro. Jeff Bethard officiating. Interment to follow at Perryville Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Mrs. Johnson passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, in Longview, TX.

Freda was born on May 24, 1954, in Ft. Worth, TX to the late James Robinson and Mava Nell White. She married Danny Johnson in 1989 and worked as an assembler for Alcatel Microwave Radio. Freda was of the Baptist faith and attended Pine St. Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Johnson; son, Steven Johnson; daughter, Kelly Patrick; grandchildren, Cortney, Caitlin, and Caden Coleman; sisters, Aletha Robinson, Candace Robinson, Kristi Odom and her husband, Glen, all of Sulphur Springs, TX, and Amy Robinson and her husband, Ray of Beggs, Oklahoma; and brothers, Newton Robinson and wife, Jackie, Jeff Robinson and his wife, Fay, Michael Robinson, Roger Robinson, and Derek Robinson, all of Sulphur Springs, TX.

Freda is preceded in death by father, James Robinson; mother, Nell Robinson; sister, Vicki Foster; and many nieces and nephews.
