Genevieve Green Bryant

Funeral service for Mrs. Genevieve Green Bryant, age 85, of Longview, TX will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Josh Ritter officiating. Interment to follow at Kelsey Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Bryant passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 in Gilmer, TX.
Genevieve was born in Upshur County on January 6, 1933 to the late Leon and Ada (Ault) Green. Mrs. Bryant proudly took care of her home and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint in Longview for 60 years and most recently in Gilmer 4th Ward.
She is survived by her son, Lawrence Bryant, Jr. of Roanoke, TX; daughters, Nan Nordyke and husband, Dutch of Stanley, North Dakota, Mary Barnett and husband, Don of Tyler, Beverly Barrow and husband David of Longview, Barbara Williams and husband Randy of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Julie Ounais and husband Maher of Manama, Bahrain, and Kimberly Dodd and husband Joe of Gilmer; brother, Scott Green and wife Flo of Kelsey; 33 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
Genevieve is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bryant, Sr.; parents; daughter, Ann Stegall; son-in-law, Kenny Stegall; sisters, Donna Keplinger and Elizabeth Green; and brothers, Russell and George Green.
The family would like to give special thanks to Mrs. Bryant’s caregivers at Wesley Oaks, Gilmer.
