Gladys Irene Alexander Hargrove

Memorial services for Mrs. Gladys Irene Alexander Hargrove, 86, of Longview will be held 10:00 A.M, Monday, April 5, 2010, at Gilmer Church of Christ with Jeff Procter officiating. Mrs. Hargrove passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Longview. She was born January 24, 1924 in the Simms Community, Bowie County, Texas to Fred Edgar Alexander and Evva Mack Foster Alexander. On October 11, 1941 she married John Eschol Hargrove in Ralls, Texas and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hargrove is survived by her husband of 68 years, John E. Hargrove of Longview; daughters, Sharon Gail Hargrove Wise of Gilmer, Teresa Wray Hargrove Holder of Flower Mound, Texas; sisters, Maxine McDole and Marian Sharp; seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Eldon Hargrove and a sister, Edith Goyne. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
