Harold H. Sheridan

Services for Harold H. Sheridan, 91, of Gladewater will be Monday, May 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Reverend Bailey Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Gladewater Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home prior to services. Mr. Sheridan passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Lindale. Mr. Sheridan was born April 22, 1925 in Van Zandt County, Texas to the late Fred Sheridan and Bessie Dunlap. He was a devout Christian and longtime member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Sheridan served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a retired electrician. Mr. Sheridan enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all the loving family he leaves behind. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Wanda Sheridan; two daughters and sons-in-law Dorinda and Justin Mitchell and Regina and Dennis Whisenant; son and daughter-in-law Glen and Marsha Sheridan; two sisters Ima Bea Nix and Wanda Fred Carter; two brothers Jimmie Sheridan and Billy Jack Sheridan; seven grandchildren Justin Ross Mitchell and wife Kacy, Laura Willett and husband Nick, Krista Hauser, Lindsey Yeager and husband Jarrod, Travis Sheridan and wife Mollie, Jeremy Molina and wife Alisha, Joshua Stoeltje, Dena Torres and Penny Whisenant; six great grandchildren Luke Yeager, Bobbie Grace Molina, Skye Nicole Stoeltje, Brock Bonner, Brent Torres and Jordin Torres as well as many other loving family and friends. Mr. Sheridan is preceded in death by his parents other siblings.
