Howard Ray Fletcher

Services for Howard Fletcher, 84, of Bettie, will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Mattinburg Missionary Baptist Church in Pittsburg with interment to follow in the Mattinburg Cemetery, with Bro. Roy Elledge to Officiate. Mr. Fletcher passed away Sunday morning, April 13, at his residence.
Howard was born in Georgetown, Texas to Raymond Fletcher and Ella Jordan on November 14, 1929. He married Virginia Jackson on April 10, 2006. He was a retired self-employed truck driver and a member of the Mattinburg Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; Virginia Fletcher of Bettie, sons daughter-in-law; Charles Fletcher, and David Lisa Fletcher both of Smithville, Texas, and sister; Janice Dean of Georgetown, Texas.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 14, 2014, from 6 8 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
