Imogene Mauk Flowers

Funeral service for Mrs. Imogene Mauk Flowers, 91, of Gilmer will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Carl officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery following the service. Mrs. Flowers passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Gilmer, TX.

Mrs. Flowers was born May 1, 1927 in Upshur County, TX to the late Joseph and Florence (Lewis) Mauk. She married Wilda “Shorty” Flowers on May 25, 1946 in Upshur County. Mrs. Flowers proudly took care of her home and will be missed by many friends and family members.

She is survived by her sons, Willie Flowers and wife, Sharon of Gilmer, and Steve Flowers also of Gilmer; daughter, Melody Reding and husband, Larry of Gilmer; six grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Imogene is preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers; and four sisters.
