James Hollis Puckett

Gilmer - Services for Mr. James Hollis Puckett, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Madison Coffey officiating and interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County. Mr. Puckett passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Gilmer. He was born May 12, 1930 in Bogata, Texas and served more than 20 years in the U.S. Army during WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War before his retirement as a sergeant. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Fred Betterton, Anthony Betterton, Glen Coffey, James Puckett, Tim Coffey and Don Bickerdike. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M at the funeral home.
