James Kenneth Pack, Jr.

A gathering of family of friends for Mr. James Kenneth Pack, Jr., 63, of Gilmer, TX will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the Gilmer Lake Park. Mr. Pack passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 in at his home in Gilmer.

James was born November 11, 1955, in Toledo, OH to the late James and Opal (Bryant) Pack. He was a self-employed handyman and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gilmer, Mr. Pack also proudly served in the United States Army. He loved being in the outdoors, especially fishing, swimming, and hunting. James also enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his grandbabies, and serving in his church.

James is survived by his daughter, Jamie Pierce and her husband, Nathan of Gilmer, Kristy Pack and Charles Hargett, Jr. of Gilmer; brothers, Steve Pack of Arizona, Alan Pack of Michigan, Bryan Pack of Ohio; sister, Sharron Engle of Ohio; grandchildren, Nathan Pack and Casper Hargett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Pack; and parents.
