Services for James Rodney Evers, 51, of White Oak, Texas will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. 1st Assembly of God in Gilmer, Texas with Pastor Ray Evers officiating and interment following in Gladewater Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. James Rodney Evers was born to Raymond and Buley Parker Evers in Gladewater, Texas, on June 7, 1964. He owned and operated James Evers Foundation Repair in White Oak and was married to Heather Evers. Mr. Evers is survived by his wife, Heather Evers of White Oak; sons, Dusty Evers of Diana, Drake Evers of Gladewater, and Cory Evers of White Oak; daughters, Fantasia Hudecek, Kenda Fairbank, and Destiney Fairbank all of White Oak; brothers, Trondell Evers of Gladewater, Ray Evers of Deport, and Travis Evers of Sheridan, Wyoming; sisters, Janell Ziegler of Sheridan, Wyoming, Mary Jo Duncan of Gladewater and Merlene Vinson also of Gladewater, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Mildred McClennan, Silvia Curtis, Charolette Mc Dowell and Cathy Stevenson, and one brother, Travon Evers. Pallbearers are John Madden, Randy Madden, Jerry Smith, Leroy Calhoun, Gene Roberson, and John Porter. Visitation will be held at Croley Funeral Home on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
