Jean Peyton

Funeral service for Mrs. Jean Augustine Peyton, 97, of Diana, TX, will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins, TX with Bro. Jan Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Chilton Cemetery. Jean passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 in Longview, TX.
Jean was born in Idabel, OK on June 23, 1921, to the late Walter and Ola (Bost) Emmert. She worked as a seamstress until her retirement. Mrs. Peyton will be greatly missed by many friends and family members.
Jean is survived by her son, Richard Haren; daughter Sally Haren; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Peyton; daughter, Teresa Carol Cain; grandson, Randy Haren; and 3 brothers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
