Mr. Jerry Micheal Utz, 46, of Gilmer passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in Gilmer. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.

He was born on October 25, 1973, in Dallas, Texas to the Ramon Dennis Utz and Charlotte Westbrook Gorman. He was a tier II computer support technician for Meyer. Jerry loved driving his corvette and the New Orleans Saints. His hobbies were making honey mead, making candles and carving drinking horns.

Jerry is survived by his mother and step father, Charlotte and Danny Gorman of Gilmer; father, Ramon Utz of Corsicana; son, Paul Michael Utz of Gilmer; sisters, Lesa Salih of Gilmer and Misty Patrick of Penn.; nieces, Megan Centers and Alexis; nephew, William Feiner.
