Funeral service for Mr. Jerry Thomas Owens, 57, of Hawkins will be held 2:00 P.M, Friday November 9, 2018, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins. Interment to follow at Holly Tree Cemetery. Mr. Owens passed away on Tuesday, November 06, 2018, in Kilgore.

Jerry was born on September 14, 1961, in Dallas, Texas to Thomas Alton Owens and Wanda Ruth Strength Owens. He was employed in the paint and body industry. He loved fishing, hunting, a cold beer and being on the lake. He had a contagious smile and could tell a story like no one else. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Alton Owens and his parents.

Jerry is survived by his spouse, Delinda Brown and children, Jay Owens and wife Jennifer of Atlanta, T. J. Owens and wife Shannon Flatt of Shreveport, Tiffany Bodetti and husband Angelo of Newtown, CT., Adam Brown of Kilgore, Chris Brown and wife Kayla of Big Sandy, Ashley James and husband David of Big Sandy; brother, David Owens of Hawkins; grandchildren, Easton Owens, Colsen Owens, Landrie Owens, Avery Bodetti, Olivia Bodetti, Chay Brown, Kenna Brown, Seger Brown, Jules Brown, Jesse James and Abigail James.
